Nato nel 1942 a Brescia ma cresciuto a Lovere, nella bergamasca, Giacomo Agostini è il pilota più titolato di sempre, con i suoi 15 campionati vinti nelle classi 350 e 500. Ha corso la sua prima stagione completa nel 1965.
