Primi verdetti in Nba: promosse ai play-off le prime due, sia a est che a ovest, cioè rispettivamente Nets e Sixers da una parte, e Utah e Phoenix dall'altra. I Sixers hanno inflitto una dura sconfitta agli Atlanta Hawks per 127-83, Utah Jazz fa altrettanto con i Sacramento Kings 154-105.
